On June 3rd, The Skekses will be opening for touring band Sun Hotel and local faves Theodore. The show starts at 9 at the Heavy Anchor (formerly Antarctica). $5 gets you in on the venue side. If you wanna strain your ears, you can hang out on the bar side of the venue for free.
You can also catch us June 4th at the RFT showcase--Rosalitas, 11:30 pm.

The Skekses--Lonely Cowgirl Pt 2
Check out this recent video, taken by our friend Tess, at El Lenador's Stag Nite on May 11th. We played with hometown heroes the Rum Drum Ramblers, along with NOLA bands called the Slick Skillet Serenaders and Mr. Gunn and his Pistol-Packin Mamas (aka, "11 people and 4 dogs").
It was basically our favorite show ever.
